Syrah
Columbia Valley
2011

$26.00

Lots of lush ripe black cherries on the nose and palate. A slight pepper on the finish. This Syrah has a slight vanilla mouth fill. A steak and fireplace would pair well with this wine. This will cellar well for years to come.

Product Description

Vineyard: Goose Ridge Vineyard

Sheltered from Seattle’s maritime climate by the towering Cascade Mountain Range, this1 400 acre vineyard receives less than 8” of rainfall annually. It is a gently sloped, south-facing site adjacent to Red Mountain.

Long, warm summer days and cool nights produce grapes noted for their ripe, rich character.

Committed to sound viticulture practices, all vines are planted on original root-stock. South to North row orientation for maximum solar exposure, drip irrigation, managed crop loads, and canopy adjustments consistently yield fruit of exceptional character and complexity.

The vineyards that we sourced the grapes from is in Richland, Washington, up by Kennewick.
